Life is Way Too Short To Care About What People Think

Everyone has something that they have been meaning to try but are embarrassed people will judge them or make fun of them for. Whether it's a hobby, genre of music, or school activity, it can be extremely scary to try it out without knowing how it can end up.

It's even harder when you have people around you saying it's “embarrassing” or “a waste of time.” But I have adapted to a new philosophy of realizing their opinion doesn’t matter! That person that may or may not judge you is a speck of dust in an entire galaxy. We are on a floating rock in the middle of the universe that is billions of light-years away. The fact that you even exist are odds that I can't even mathematically calculate. So even though a small decision seems huge, I promise you it is so insignificant.

Trying something new is only embarrassing if you make it be. No one should judge you for doing something that brings you joy and if they do, that means they haven't found something to make you genuinely happy.

So instead of living with the regret of not trying something new. Take advantage of the precious years that you are living in right now and you can try whatever you want. Worst-case scenario you try it and you hate it. Now you don't have to live with the wondering what could have happened. And best case scenario you find something else that brings you joy!

Love,

Chloe <3
